Workshops for all ages

Dance classes

Beginer

Movement, Music, and Magic for Children Aged 4 and up, Taught with music and structured dance classes for kids that develop physical skills and encourage creativity, expression and confidence. Through participation in appropriate learning activities.

Intermediate

Developing physical skills 10 years and up. These structured classes develop students’ physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality using a range of movements and musical styles. The syllabi prepare students for an advanced classical dance and other dance genres at higher levels.

Advanced

Solo Performance Development (above 13 years) In addition to class work at each level, we offer optional Solo Performance could be taught for their school functions. This is an excellent opportunity for students to present where they will be appreciated and assessed on technique, musicality, performance and recall. A great benefit of this is that students are able to treat this as showing their talents of Sri Lankan Classical Dance to their families, teachers and their friends.

Chathuri Wickramarachchi

Chathuri Wickramarachchi is a Traditional Sri Lankan Dancer and a Teacher. She also received her Bachelor of Performing Arts in Sri Lankan Traditional dance, Creative dance, and Kathak form of the Visual and Performing Arts University in 2007. As a professional dancer, she has traveled over 45 countries around the world, representing Sri Lanka. She moved to Frederick and planning to starts her own dance school, and planning to have a Dance and yoga program for kids with special needs.
